The Instagram account The World in Maps has published an image with data from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) showing the number of weeks of holiday that students enjoy in different European countries.

In first place is Latvia, with 17.2 weeks of holiday throughout the year, followed by Greece and Lithuania, with 17 weeks. In the opposite direction are young Swiss students, who only have eight weeks of school holiday during the year.

In Portugal, school holidays last 15 weeks, and most young European students have between 13 and 15 weeks of holidays.
