The Regional Tourism Authority of the Lisbon Region suggests 5 places to visit with the little ones. From dinosaurs to marine animals, to youth theatres and museum villages, there are options to suit all tastes.

The first recommendation is Indoor MiniGolf Lisboa, in Chiado, a covered and themed minigolf course, ideal for sharing family moments, come rain or shine. Here, you can choose between a course with natural light or neon lights.

The next suggestion is a classic: a visit to the Lisbon Oceanarium. A space dedicated to the marine world, where sharks, otters and tropical fish are the stars of the show.

With a program dedicated to children and young people, the third suggestion is a trip to LU.CA - Teatro Luís Camões. With shows that combine theatre, dance and music, with accessible and creative languages, this is the ideal program to do with young people.

The fourth recommendation is a visit to the Frigate D. Fernando II e Glória, anchored in Cacilhas, which allows you to get up close and personal with the last ship in the Portuguese Navy powered exclusively by sail. On board, you can explore the different areas of the vessel, learn about the daily lives of 19th century sailors and understand the importance of overseas voyages in Portuguese history.

The fifth and final suggestion is a visit to the José Franco Village-Museum, in Mafra. In this space dedicated to artisanal culture, visitors can find replicas of old workshops and shops, miniatures of houses and inhabitants, a children's playground, a small wine cellar and even a bakery.
