"The Bank of Portugal warns that 'AGRA FINANCIA,' which operates, in particular, through the website accessible at https://finanxiagra.com, is not authorized to carry out, in Portugal, the activity of granting credit or any other financial activity reserved for institutions subject to the supervision of the Bank of Portugal," read a statement released by the institution.

In another statement, the Bank of Portugal warns that the entity operating, in particular, through the website accessible at https://universofinancas.com/pt/ and the Facebook profile https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61571269096771, is not authorized to carry out, in Portugal, the activity of granting credit or any other financial activity reserved for institutions subject to the supervision of the Bank of Portugal."

The banking supervisor reminds that "the activity of granting credit, provided for in paragraph b) of No. 1 of Article 4 of the General Framework for Credit Institutions and Financial Companies, approved by Decree-Law No. 298/92 of December 31, is reserved for entities legally authorized for this purpose, as provided for in Article 10 of said legal framework."

"The list of entities authorized to grant credit can be consulted on the Banco de Portugal website at www.bportugal.pt ," recommends the Banco de Portugal.
